1st XI Winning Streak Ends


After a two month winning streak the 1st XI tasted defeat against Medstead on Saturday. This result means the league title is now hard to achieve but the team can be proud of clinching a thoroughly deserved promotion. Although the match was lost, it was a thrilling match decided by fine margins.

Home Straight


Despite the Midweek League finishing and Wednesday's Friendly being cancelled, it has been a lively week for some OGCC players with them meeting Cival Rights Activists & former Presidential candidates and playing against the MCC at the home of cricket.

Last weekend the Sunday XI played against the Cricket Society on President's day. The 1st XI entertained Littleton, with the 2nd XI travelling to St. Cross and the 3rds playing Easton & Martyr.

OGCC’s junior A teams winners or runners-up in five age groups

Both the Under 13s and Under 11s are North Hampshire champions again, having successfully defended their division one titles, while the Under 9s are division one runners-up.  The Under 15s have won division two, and the Under 11 girls are runners-up in their league.
In addition, Max Guibeleguiet wins the individual under 11 league batting and bowling awards for being his age group’s leading runs-scorer and wicket-taker in division one, while Reece Lane wins the individual under 13 league bowling award – the third consecutive year that he has been the leading wicket-taker in division one for his age group.
